Nymindegab Familie Camping - Reviews

auto-translated: The campsite is located on the outskirts of Hymindegab on a wooded area about 1.5 km walk from the beach. The access to the campsite is quite good, unfortunately there are private properties in front of the campsite and the parking spaces for guests are few and far between and then in the high season the guests stand in the access road and narrow it.
Otherwise the access road is good and easy to use with a chip card.
The site is laid out on several levels and we had a comfort pitch on the upper level from which we had a very good view. Unfortunately it was also very windy due to the weather.
Sanitary and kitchen facilities are good, clean and almost always sufficient. Gas hobs are also available in some of the kitchens.
All facilities were cleaned regularly.
As the complex is laid out on different levels, you also need stairs. Unfortunately, these were not sufficiently available or were worn out - in my opinion, something needs to be changed here. Guests then use the slopes and then step down them, which was the case at my place.
To prevent this, you had to take detours and not everyone does that.
The reception is manned for very long hours and is very professional. You can buy the essentials and order fast food in the adjoining shop/snack bar. Unfortunately, the actual town of Nymindegab doesn't have much to offer. Otherwise, the surrounding area offers a lot of nature and is easy to cycle around. As already described, the beach is a bit far away but good and not very crowded.
There is a swimming pool on the site which is good for children but unfortunately not suitable for sporting activities as there is no swimming lane. Cleanliness is also impeccable there. For children there is a large playground and a petting zoo with goats.
The site also has a washing machine and dryer, a very easy to use waste disposal station and the stations for grey water and toilets are also very good. During my stay, the operator set up three private bathrooms, which unfortunately I can't write anything about.
The cabins in various sizes were also very attractive and fully booked during our holiday.
All in all, the site was good and I will definitely come back as the price/performance ratio is good.
