Very big place, surrounded by mountains so was not windy. We saw some northern lights! Women showers would take a while to drain. Water a bit smelly (showers) but that is pretty much everywhere. Kids playground but we did not use even though we came with 2 young children. Kitchen was small and crowded at one point but facilities were warm and cozy.a bit pricey

Nice location, close to a large water area. Booking can be done online on parks.is - but our spot was taken on arrival. Large pool nearby. Excellent toilets and showers - as well as a washing machine - inside the concrete building, making them warm and comfortable.
On the negative side, large groups were playing outside well after 23:00, which was really disturbing!
