Gesthús Selfoss

It was so nice to borrow a hair dryer here (as US ones don’t work here in Iceland)and have access to a hot tub after a long day! The staff was so pleasant and helpful!

Small designated parking lot for vans, you are right next to each other. No possibility to choose your space yourself.
Kitchen area was alright! You have to put off your shoes to be let inside.
Showers and toilets are ok.
Everything (bathrooms, kitchen) is together in a building in the middle of the campground.

In outskirts of the second biggest city in Iceland Selfoss perfect for stocking up. Big nice looking camping. Good and warm communal room wit cooking facilities en tables to sit inside. Separate nice area for tents. There is some roadnoise at the tentarea. Big field for campers and caravans. Around the edges of the field the places are separated from each other with small bushes. The cabins are close to each other but look big from the outside.
