We had a super nice stay, there were only two other campers. The toilets and hot showers are super clean! You can hear the cara from the street but it didn’t bother us at all! The view is fantastic too when there are no clouds :)
Would I come back: Yes

auto-translated: The campsite is very minimalistically equipped, but costs a lot.
Electricity is available for 1000 ISK.
There is no reception, but in the morning someone comes by and collects the money.
The place is very quiet, there was only one tent and two caravans when we arrived.
In the village there is a bathing lake heated by geothermal energy with a thermal bath.
There is a very good burger restaurant and a small supermarket, which also sells stamps (there is a mailbox at the exit of the market).
For emergency overnight stays a good camping site.
