auto-translated: Worst camp we've been to, but since it's the only one we had no choice.
Few power points, all places very far from toilets and bathroom.
The bathroom is very dirty and moldy and cramped (3 showers for maybe 2 square meters).
The laundry cost 3000 kroner.
The price quality is terrible.

auto-translated: Beautiful place below the mountains and in front of the lake, in between the ring road, but depending on the place you do not hear it. A few areas are blocked by travel agencies or agencies, but does not bother at all.

Campground is on multiple terraces. Bathroom building on the parking spot when you enter, so depending on where you park, you have quite a long way to the bathrooms/toilets, but a nice view. No kitchen area in the campground when we were there in May 2022, but we could use the kitchen area from the hostel/guesthouse, which is just 2 minutes down the road, but you rather need to drive than walk. Nice kitchen area, 8 stoves, plates etc. Nice big sitting area with windows all around with a super nice view of the landscape. Didn’t use the shower, as we showered at Myvatn baths, but toilets were alright.

Friendly owner. Nice location, with mountains visible in the backdrop. When we stayed, there were not a lot of people (2-3 campers maximum).
The campsite itself is made out of several ‘steps’ and offers pleasingly soft ground (tent pegs go in easily, which is a miracle in Iceland).
Facilities during our stay were outstanding, there is a full kitchen with two stoves, two ovens, a microwave, two sinks, two coffee machines, two watercookers. A dining area with four long tables, each can seat up to 16 people.
There is central heating, which is splendid.
Would recommend a visit to this one!
Also nearby is a natural hot spring, which is worth visiting.
