Facilities are all in order. Many toilets, big kitchen area to sit and cook. There is many food that's leftover in the kitchen, so if you just arrived here, don't go buy your own cooking oil, salt etc. just pick it up here for free. Price of the campsite is quite expensive, but the location in the city is very convenient.

Great location in the middle of Reykjavik, perfect to start or end your journey. But: except for the actual camping site where you put your tents, everything is a bit ugly. The toilets smell and are in bad shape, the kitchen wasn’t really clean, the place with the tables was closed so we had to eat standing. That would be normal in other countries, but in Iceland there are so many great sites, it was by far the worst camping site we had all trip. Also the most expensive. That doesn’t fit well

auto-translated: Large campsite about 2 km from the city center. Well equipped with common room, washroom, sanitary etc. However, at the beginning of September no longer occupied, no service. Important information is displayed disorderly at different locations or is missing completely. Electricity pillars are partly defective, space for motorhomes okay but not very visible. Online reservations with simultaneous payment on the own website are considered non-binding. Why also always...
Pricewise elevated. Bus stop with good connection opposite. Grey water and toilet has to be disposed 2km (!) outside the site. For a capital city campsite rather disappointing.

Convenient facility with bus 14 a direct link to city center. This camping is calling itself ´eco ´, which is rather easy when all troubles are outsourced. For example, to through away papers, you need to leave the camping and do that at the pool nearby! There are also no grey/black water recovery facility. Again, go elsewhere...
in times of Covid, there is no one managing the camping onsite and you need to go to the hostel next door for registration...

This is a green campsite which recycles everything usable and encourages travellers to do so. You can book tours and airport transport at reception desk. You can also buy local bus tickets from them as well. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Laugardalur swimming pool is just next door where your can relax in a spa or swim after a day tour.

auto-translated: Since the campsite is located directly in Reykjavik, it is quite full and expensive. We had to book the rooms early.
All in all the campsite leaves a good impression. The staff is friendly and helpful. A good place to start or end your holiday in Iceland.
