Accommodation Type: Campervanauto-translated: simple pragmatic campsite, the building with toilets and kitchen is already quite in the years. With two toilets and showers for each sex, I would not want to stay here the night before when the ferry goes.100 ISK for 2 minutes of hot water. Washing machine and dryer are available. Paid in August 2022 2000 ISK per person .

Accommodation Type: Campervanauto-translated: Seyðisfjørður is a beautiful place at perhaps the most beautiful Ostfjord of Iceland. It can only be reached via a mountain pass, which can be quite adventurous in fog. The city is surrounded by small waterfalls and a real idyll. There are many old colourful houses, but the town lives from a young community of artists and creative people. There is a small gallery with modern art, a handicraft market etc..

If possible don't arrive on Tuesday, because the liner ship comes from Denmark and the Faroe Islands and it is very crowded even outside the high season on the campsite. But even then the place is not overcrowded and worth a visit. Beautiful nature, beautiful town.

Manko: There is only one urban campsite, which is more pragmatic than beautiful.

It is located directly behind the beautiful old church and if you are lucky you will get one of the few pitches with a view of the church and the fjord. Otherwise you stand close to other campers.

There are separate areas for tents. There are some tables and benches.

The site and all facilities are barrier-free, including toilets, shower and house kitchen.

There is a house where you have to pay (1.500 ISK per person (disabled and seniors 900), 700 electricity, 333 tax). There are also tables and chairs to stay and eat, a kitchenette with all the basics you need. Outside there are two communal barbecues and two sinks.

There is a coin-operated washing machine and dryer.

There are several toilets and coin showers (100 ISK for 2 minutes hot water).

Everything was in good condition.

Accommodation Type: Campervanauto-translated: Camping ground in the middle of a small village. Very popular, even if no ferries arrive. Is a camping card site with green meadows for tents. Vehicles, campers etc. are on a gravel site. Hot shower costs 100 ISK for 2 minutes.

Accommodation Type: CampervanSeydisfjördur Camping is located nicely across the beautiful church, close to the local bars/restaurants and shopping possibilities. Many basic needs for camping is met at the campsite incl washing machine, coin shower, cooking etc. As Seydisfjördur is port for Smyril Line and under the summer for cruises a lot of mobile homes is camping here on Tuesday / Wednesday either after coming with the ferry or preparing to leave. Staff was very friendly. It is wheelchair accessible (incl bathroom and shower) and has a handicap discount.
