There is a hiking trail right off the campground. We would come again.

The first highlight is the arrival. A bit suddenly you are there... half harbour, half camping site. Very nice operator. Tent areas a bit humid and soft - motorcyclists should watch out. Most idyllic place so far on my tour through southern Norway. And yes: The pizza is good! But if you want to stay longer, you have to go again or bring something with you for a change.

The best way to get there is to drive from the south and then take a ferry ride. We came from the E39 from the north and then drove on a very poorly developed road for 55 km, which was a bit adventurous.
But once you have arrived, this place is actually not so wrong. Especially anglers get their money's worth. There are boats for very moderate prices to borrow. The view of the archipelago is very beautiful.
With the fast ferry, which is reached in a few steps, you can also go on the waterway to Bergen and the surrounding islands and back. The place is absolutely quiet, you are almost at the end of the world.
The landlord also runs the local bus company and has turned out to be a friendly host. The sanitary facilities are sensationally good. they were by far the best we have found in one place in Norway. The space is still under construction a bit, I think, in a few years, this will be an insider tip. The price was right and the place offers a whole lot, if only it were not so remote ...
