Tornes Fjordcamping - Reviews
Mandui 2022/06/06
auto-translated: The permanent campers have it nice, for motorhomes there are only a few, closely adjacent sites, plus a meadow for tents. For one night with a beautiful view and good sanitary facilities but absolutely okay.

Unfortunately we did not experience any of the positive aspects referred to by the earlier two reviewers; camping owner seems to care more about his grass than to receive international camping guests with a tent which is slightly bigger than a regular trekking tent. We did not feel welcome; camping primarily consists of regular, permanent camping trailers; our impression was that the owner was unwilling to properly communicate - no friendly reception or proper explanation of what to do in the neighborhood - after our second night we were out-of-the-blue informed that we had to leave since he already made reservations for new guests whilst plenty of empty space remain(ed) available; result is that tents were placed closely together for the benefit of local bathing guests. We believe this is a pity because the campsite is beautifully located and certainly has potential if properly managed. We will certainly not return to this campsite again.

auto-translated: Top facility directly on the fjord, very quiet, even on weekends (but in June). Small beach, possibility to rent a boat, very good sanitary facilities. 250 NOK for WoMo per night incl. electricity.
