Accommodation Type: Campervanauto-translated: The location of the campsite is really great. The groundsman comes once a day and settles the bill. Washing is no problem, you sign up on the list and can wash and dry for free. The sanitary facilities are not only outdated but also dirty. Nevertheless, we will come again

Accommodation Type: Tentauto-translated: Beautifully situated directly on Lake Vänern with a bathing beach. Kitchen with guest refrigerator and lounge area.
Quiet, family atmosphere. Sanitary facilities acceptable, but not so clean.
Overall very suitable for cyclists with tents.

Accommodation Type: TentI stayed one night with a tent+car. Owner was very friendly. I paid 160kr. shower and toilets are very old and were also not being cleaned for a longer time...NO access to a kitchen or washing machine.
additional info: as it is on the NE shore of the lake, be prepared that there can be very strong wind gusts.
Would I come back: No

Accommodation Type: Campervanauto-translated: Small place directly on Lake Vänern. Almost all full with permanent campers. Had a place directly on the lake. Very nice swimming beach. Well suited for children as it goes very long very shallow into the water. Sanitary facilities very outdated. Staff very nice

Accommodation Type: Tentauto-translated: A great environment and pitches with the most amazing and beautiful view on Vänern.
Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are very old and not really clean. Were not cleaned during the stay. Which is not appealing especially for small children.

Owner very nice and quick contact if not there.

Accommodation Type: Caravanauto-translated: Had a place right on the lakefront! That was nice. Facility and playground a bit outdated but clean.
I lacked a certain charm.
The nearby town of Kristinehamn is very cute.
I like this place for travelling through, I wouldn't want to stay here any longer.

Accommodation Type: Caravanauto-translated: were here after the 10th of August. There is not much going on - it is absolutely idyllic. However, the kiosk is then no longer open.

Accommodation Type: Tentauto-translated: A small, manageable place, mainly inhabited by permanent campers, whereby the best places by far are reserved exclusively for day guests and travellers - but those in the very first row with a direct view of the water and the child-friendly sandy beach. This is where most of the people pass through and spend the night further north or on their way to Norway, but it is also okay to stay in the front row for the whole summer (3 weeks). The audience is mixed: older campers, but also young families and unaccompanied travellers. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, not least because you don't camp in a row but the plots merge loosely into each other and there is plenty of space around - you don't just sit on the pellet and find a suitable place for a huge tent or camper van. For children there are numerous play possibilities, other luxuries you will search in vain. The service building is simple, but clean and okay. There are free (!) showers, a fully equipped kitchen (where you can also use the freezer!) and a room with washing machine dryer, so everything you need is available. The kiosk essentially only sells ice cream - so you should buy it on arrival or at the end of your day trip. Power supply is well organized, even if it doesn't look that way at first glance. What is missing? WLAN perhaps - for those who have not understood that this is a place for deep relaxation. Otherwise, the great view and the pleasant, familiar atmosphere speak for themselves. You also don't pay much with a tent - the price-performance ratio is totally ok, if you consider what you have to pay for in other places (shower, laundry room, freezer, etc.), otherwise you will have to get used to the fact that you have to reach for your mobile phone after 6 p.m. and inform the operator about your arrival, because the place is only staffed from 12 - 6 p.m. Who comes later, selects itself its place, builds up already times and pays if the operators react to the call - they are in the evening with the nearby farm busy and come evenly only on call.
